Model portfolioThis portfolio is a model. Every trade is simulated from real market prices: an order counts only if the
market actually traded at its price, and brokerage and fees are taken off. We will move it to real orders when we go live. Until then it
is not part of the account figures.
Our view todayThe broad US market slipped about 1% this week and sits just under its short-term averages, which looks like a pullback rather than a breakdown. Banks, trucking and homebuilders are holding up well after their earnings reports. We are buying only a few stocks that have already reported, tested a clear floor and held it. We are watching airlines, Cummins, State Street and Akamai for a cleaner entry.

Prices are rounded. Gain since we bought: the price change from our entry, before charges. A position is sold in two parts: half at its target, the rest by its trailing stop. Cash is kept in SGOV, a fund of short-term US Treasury bills; its return includes its monthly payouts.
